The last time Brisbane experienced a major flood was in 1974 when the Brisbane river broke its banks and flooded its surrounding areas. The same thing happened in 2010 – 2011 when the river again broke its banks, flooding areas such as West End, St. Lucia, Fairfield, and even the CBD. Here are a series of captured images of this unfortunate disaster.
