An old video put together by the BBC about a Singaporean exile named Francis Khoo Kah Siang, a Singaporean patriot who was never managed to return home. He passed away in the UK in November 2011.
A memorial for him was held in Singapore. It was attended by his wife Dr Ang Swee Chai, whom the Government gave permission to re-enter the country after 35 years in exile.
The video takes a brief look at the other side of Singapore: the price its people have paid to live in a clean, safe, efficient and economically stable society.
Thanks for the video. True or propaganda, it is heart-wrenching to see how people were/are treated if they have an alternative view to the incumbent ruling party. I look forward to the day when Emperor Lee is dead and he will NOT rise from the grave as he dramatically proclaimed. His son will be overthrown in his own party.
Coate d’Ivorie people want to say is thank you very much!
