TT Rally: Confidence for the Future

Presidential candidate Dr Tony Tan addressed a lunch-time crowd of 2,000 people at Boat Quay yesterday during his Presidential Rally.

He stressed that the President has to be a President for all Singaporeans, working with all political parties and civil society for Singapore’s future.

He also focused his message on the role he can play as President, his experience in both public and private sectors, and how he can influence the Cabinet, within the powers of the Presidency.

She is a retired doctor who has given Singapore many years of sterling service.

Bakerche bin Mohamed

He is a retired businessman who is also vice-chairman of the CCC at Sembawang where he worked together with Dr Tony Tan for 27 years.

She is the President of UNIFEM, Singapore and Immediate Past President of the Financial Women’s Association

Sean Rozario

Professor Sean Patrick Rozario is the CFO of Shenzhen Temeite Technology Co. Ltd

Sharon Au

A former popular actress, she was one of the sensations at this year’s National Day Parade. Recently, she joined the Management Track at MediaCorp after completing her studies in Japan.

Chua Thian Poh

He is the Chairman of the Singapore Federation of Chinese Clans Association, and Chairman of Business China.

Dr Tony Tan

A former Deputy Prime Minister, Dr Tony Tan is one of the 4 candidates for the 2011 Presidential Elections. He was Executive Director of Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) and Chairman of the Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) until July 2011.
