On 26 September 2010, the Singapore Democratic Party carried out Exercise Lightning Block. This exercise is a dry-run / simulation of the General Election. The exercise includes mock-ups of tasks required for the actual General Election, such as the nomination process and the election rallies. Jeffery George (SDP’s Assistant Treasurer) is the chief coordinator of the exercise. He is an engineer by training and profession. Below are the speech highlights from the rallies.
